Learn wilderness skills in the middle of a city

After a forest trip or a night out, the mind is always more rested, but at the same time more excited and alert than before. New skills, laughter and friends – with scouting, every day is an experience. Changing wet socks for the last pair of dry socks found in a friend’s backpack in a dark tent is an experience that unites and creates fun shared memories. They lead to long lasting friendships with people you know you can always count on.

The story of Harjun Partiotytöt goes back 100 years, to 1919, when girl scouting first started in Jyväskylä. Since then, every girl in Jyväskylä has been able to learn wilderness skills and cooperation with us.
